So I was in Target yesterday and this guy was handing out samples of Target's "archer farms" brand of frozen pizza. I had to try a piece. Okay...so I tryed three pieces. Had to make sure it was safe.

Over all I'd say it was likely the best frozen pizza i've ever had.

It's a little on the pricey side as far as frozen pizza's go at $8.99 a pizza BUT the pizza's were huge. X-tra large sized. One pizza could easily feed 4 people. They were stacked with toppings. The sauce was a little on the sweet side though still good and all the toppings made up for the sauce. Dough consistency was excellent. It actually tasted like real pizza dough.

The Archer Farms brand has some pretty tasty stuff. I haven't tried the pizza (I will tho!) but I really like their potato chips and cookies.

Once i'm back in my house I told my wife I was going to fill our second freezer with those pizzas.

They surprised me. Most frozen pizza's taste like cardboard or just bread with some cheese tasting product on top. But the archer farms ones surprised me.

I've never had their potato chips or cookies.

Aren't their chips the kind that have ingrdients that are only "Salt, Pepper, and Potatoes"? Those kind of chips. Maybe I have had them.

The potato chips are kettle cooked but they have different flavors: jalepeno, sea salt and vinegar, tomato basil, etc.

Try the white chocolate chunk lemon cookies. Not back for a packaged cookie.

Best bottled water I've tasted is Archer Farms and it's only a little more than the cheapos. Also comes in flavors...

If you want it to taste even better.....cook/warm it up on the grill. Charcoal preferably, but a gas grill will work if you wrap some wet wood chips in some aluminum foil.

Thanks for the heads up on this. While I DO like making my own dough, I'm lazy and its a pita, so if I can make it easier for me, I go for it I like to get the plain cheese pizza's (does Archer's have that?) and add my own toppings.

I'm not sure about the plain cheese's. Probably though. I was actually impressed with the toppings.

The sauce is a little on the sweet side. So I guess it tastes a little like pappa johns sauce.

Actually, the pizza's are NOT frozen, they can be found in the fresh Bakery/Deli department.

Here is a plain cheese that I added pepperoni, salami, bacon and a tad more cheese to.

Yup, it was good. Yup, it was BIG!! Two slices filled me up.

Thanks for the heads up CThomp

They also had Archer Farms in a smaller frozen pizza in several varieties. I bought a cheese and will try it at a future date.

Yes...these are indeed...excellent pizzas. Two pizza's served 6 drunk hungry men after a full day of fishing.

Everyone had nothing bad to say. Of course I put hot sauce on everything so it just kept tasting better.
