Jr is visiting the dermo for unusual moles? on the shoulders and back.

he's a surfer, fisherman, and generaly an out doors kinda of guy.

he has been sunburnt uncounted times and freckles are the most common part of the pigment.

USE SUNSCREEN!

I just switched from Coppertone Sport 30 & 50 to No Ad Sport 50. I guess it's a better UVA/UVB sunscreen. It's alot thicker but it doesn't run into your eyes and make you cuss. It's also only $7.50 for 16oz. Not bad.

Jr is A OK, tests came back negative!

He will have to get three removed in the near future though, due to their location and the irritation caused by shirt rub.

Jr will now have to wear spf 50, with zinc oxide over the top on his shoulders.

he also got some spf 50 long sleeved fishing shirts from bass pro. it's finally sinking theough!

That's wonderful news. I'm glad. I had a basal area removed from my shoulder a few years ago. My oldest brother had melanoma stage 4 on his upper arm. Stuff isn't to be taken lightly, at all.

Great to hear it Coonie!!!! Just make sure he remembers to get those others removed.

Mr. Dancin and I go to the Derm once a year, just for a full body skin check....Mr. Dancin's had to do some of those self peal things on his face...I've been lucky so far. Must be the French in me.

Mrs. R....I think the shirts with the sunscreen are fairly new....I bought one for hubby last time I was in the keys.....the material is also really nice....he loves his, I have to get him some more.

they aren't coloumbia, they're 'world wide sportsman' they look almost identical except for a few features coloumbia doesn't have. they also have a cool embroidry(sp) on the back.
