When I type my screen name and password, no characters appear in the boxes and it ain't lettin' me in. It's busted.

Users are NOT transferred yet. This is a preview.
I'll have them transferred over by tomorrow some time. You can sign up on your own, if you like.
The light color text inside those boxes is a problem I'm working on. It's one of two display bugs that I am not yet happy with. The other is the background for previewing a new posting. After those are finished, I'll go about migrating users.
Please let me know what you think of the layout/the look, etc.

Oh. OK. In that case, it looks awesome. Good job. And Mrs R scared me there for a minute.

I love it!!! And it's amazing how things over the years are upgraded. Rummy? French Devil and I were talking the other night over how the OLD NP used to look, black screen, green letters....like DOS ya know? Then it changed again, went away and came back last Nov/Dec right? And this came along last fall. I'm so excited! I had sworn off them and this one just 'felt' and 'looked' right...and this new one!!!! It looks AWESOME!!! Great job!

Hehe, yep! I haven't gotten to the user migration process yet. It's mostly manual, so it will take a bit, but I still plan to work on it this evening. Dinner first and one more project for work before I can get to it. Besides, I've been busy for the last few dismantling a basically useless survey that the lovely folks at our Economics Development Office have hoisted upon us.

Ummm... Are these the same people that paid to outsource the telephone survey to our friends in INDIA ??? I took the online survey. Momma used to tell me that if you can't say anything nice, sometimes its nicer to not say anything at all..
I'll shut up now... -Calvin |

It's foisted, not hoisted. Good thing the F and H keys are so close together.

Radio? Do you know how much control Mike Jackson had over this survey development? OR did they hire the company to do it all?

I don't have the exact information on how much control he had. He hired an outsourced firm for the phone survey (which flopped) now he's hired an outsourced firm (which he raved about) that failed for Internet Surveys....
Also, just take note of the following text:
quote: This will allow the City of Cape Coral to develop a meaningful business attraction and expansion strategy.
How in the HECK can our Economic Development Coordinator not already have a MEANINGFUL business attraction and expansion strategy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I spent too much time on slamming the survey. I'll have to finish LCC 2.0 tomorrow. Sorry folks. You COULD sign up yourselves.
Have a wonderful evening.

I said it elsewhere but, didn't the Economic Development Office just hire a Business Development Coordinator, or something like that? Isn't this the kind of task that person would perform? Wouldn't that person have some form of expertise is collecting relevant information?
