Are you planning on moving soon, Rainbo, or just looking around in GA? Do you have a particular/city town in mind?
I guess where ever you go outside FL, the homeowners insurance costs have got to be less.

OB and Motv8d have been having trouble accessing our service, because of Comcast and their refusal to reboot their DNS servers. (Despite multiple attempts to speak to them).

My comcast has been wobbly since yesterday but I think its because Arabella got tangled up in the wires and pulled them out lol.
My son is supposed to come over and repair my temporary fix today lol.

The move isn't definite yet and we won't move before Spring. I don't tolerate colder weather well so we want to acclimate me gradually.
My candlelight party will be January 25. I will still be around lol.
My boyfriend mentioned he went to church with the family last time he was up there which gave me pause. He doesn't attend church here. I want to be sure I am not going to be vilified for my alternative beliefs if I move.
I love small towns. Just depends on the attitudes.

Mr. R, do you think it all comes down to speed vs. reliable/steady connection? Are all the speedy internet options problematic? Do you think they'll have internet via the DISH network anytime soon, and will it disconnect everytime it rains??

How do you test a baby for wet diaper? Stick a finger in right? Well last night I learned my lesson. No more fingers.
I was at my son's babysitting and had the baby on my lap. I noticed my jeans were wet so I stuck my finger in.
Got a finger full of pooh. Lesson learned lol. Just cause you can't smell it, doesn't mean it ain't there lol.

There are a few Satellite based ISPs, they universally suck, if any other option is available to you. It would be best to use DSL or Cable.
Satellite service WILL be interrupted with rain, just like the video signal is.
Cable companies tend to have a higher customer care capability, and are used to dealing with consumers. Phone companies are more business oriented, and therefore don't react well to the vagaries of the small home customer.
So generally I recommend cable, however, "That's Comcastic" has become a sarcastic phrase around my house, usually denoting something that we're decidedly unhappy about. So there really is no "good choice" it's all picking the best of several bad choices.

Hi De Ho Everyone,
Well,last night my mom told me grandma was back in the hospital. She is 85, and has congested heart failure.
So I cryed, and had puffy eyes. I went to visit her, and she is doing good. She is the same ole grandma I know. So sweet. I found her comb so she could comb her hair and she put rouge on.
She has a lot of good conversation. And she is hard of hearing. So I let her do the talking. What a sweety.
And it makes me think of Wondering and her son and all she is. And Rainbo for her colorful ways. I wish I could give you all a big hug tonight.
We have to chit chat about fun stuff.
Like : For Thanksgiving: Where are you going, and what are you bringing.......................
That could be a fun topic.
