I haven't forgotten about lunch, just was not able to plan it because of no transportation.
Anyone still want to do that? Almost everyone who replied had time on Thursdays for lunch. Shall we go for it?

Pooh Bear is here with her "knee" such as it is. Couldn't get past the 108 degree bend yesterday with the PT. Still have to break some more scar tissue. Worked on it today but per usual after sleeping with it mostly straight all night it is hard to bend in the AM.
Yep Fuz I can do straight leg raises really well and am past the 90 degree bend but want past the 110 degree level. Straightening is great - keeps improving. It's the dang bend that is holding me up.
Cape C- back in the very early '70's ex hubby and I used to race an MGB. Haven't seen any refurbished ones around lately tho.

You are on the right road with your knee; if you are getting better then 90 degrees and more, it's a good thing. And extension is very important
And Cape Chick; I applause you on your weight loss and diet willpower. And correct me if I am wrong. The last time I was a 6 was in highschool and I weighed about 95 to 100 pounds. So a size 6 to me is a very skinny person. And depending on your height, I think a size 8 is skinny and 10 and 12 are good sizes, too.
After my second child, I was 32 and I lost all the baby weight and 7 pounds inaddition (I was battleing with morning sickness and heartburn all my pregnancies). And the doctors were happy, but mine said if I could lose 10 more that would be good. I just find it hard to get back to a weight you were when you were 18 after a decade and a half, plus spewing out 2 children, and having no me time.
I think I would like to go on survivor , just for the weight loss and not the money. Hee Hee.
Did we start a work out thread, because, I do need to get back to the exercise schedule I ended when summer started.

| I will get the link and send it to you later ...I would rather have had anything but those shanks but when you are real, real hungry you will eat anything like that and enjoy it. I have never ate lamb shanks so I don't know what they are like but it did not look appetizing. |

I used to love lamb. When I married my first husband we thought we would save money by buying 1/2 spring lamb. We were eating lamb for months. Haven't touched it since lol.

| Fleur I was taking statins and they crippled me so the hips were killing me and I had the cortizone shots or I would not be able to do my healthy walk or exercise which my cardio insists on... |

You need more salt wondering. That is what my blood pressure was for years. My doctor MADE me add salt to my diet last year to bring my blood pressure up to normal.
I've done cortisone shots in both shoulders because I have a recurrent rotator cuff problem both sides. All it does is relieve the pain and when the shot wears off, the pain and stiffness are worse. I don't let them come anywhere near me with those needles anymore.
I am thinking about seeing an Osteopath for my hip though. I am too young to not be able to walk more then half a mile.
My book is about 3 witches and the Face on Mars.

| they took me off salt but I put myself back on it ater I passed out a couple of times...I also started drinking hi octane coffee also, the decaf was just to crappy and they told me not to drink regular coffee because it revs the heart up and makes it work harder ---then they tell me to exercise to raise my heart beat...good hi octane coffee. |

I drink one cup of coffee per day. I am not supposed to have any but I need that jolt in the morning. Once in a while I make a pot of cuban coffee but I drink a lot of decaf too. I love coffee.

I was going to wait until payday to insure and register that car, but the bus changed my mind last night. Took me 2 hours to get home. They changed the schedule so that the bus I transfer to comes 45 minutes later then it did before and yesterday it showed up a half hour later then that. Everytime I have to sit and wait for something, I think of the minutes ticking by when I could be doing something productive. Must be a function of getting old lol. I think you are more aware of time passing.
